Regular physical activity is one of the best things you can do for your health. Exercise strengthens your heart, builds muscle, improves mood, boosts energy, and helps maintain a healthy weight. It's never too late to start!
Running, cycling, swimming, dancing, or brisk walking. Aim for 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity per week.
Weight lifting, resistance bands, or bodyweight exercises. Train all major muscle groups 2-3 times per week.
Stretching, yoga, or Pilates. Improve range of motion and reduce injury risk with regular flexibility work.
Tai chi, yoga poses, or single-leg stands. Especially important as we age to prevent falls.
